Description
Hello :) I'm Azzurra from Northern Italy.
I had some very nice workaway experiences some time ago and I miss travelling this way, so here I am again!
After my studies in translation, I have lived in several countries in Europe and spent a few months in Israel.
I was lucky enough to visit Thailand and live there for 2 years.
I then moved to Japan with my partner and now I'm keeping my eyes open for the next place to go :)
When I visit a place, I try to discover it from the inside, through people who show me places that mean something to them, and even when it seems boring, I always try to see the beauty in things :)
I have some experience with childcare and I have worked as a receptionist and back office in a few hostels around Europe.
I enjoyed all the places I have lived so far, I believe we end up in the right place, and we end up learning something.
I would love to spend time working on a vegetable garden, and in general to get inspired and learn about self-sufficient living, and make things with my own hands.
I currently teach Italian online a few hours a week to have a little money flow, so having a network I can use and a space to teach would be a gift!
If not, I can take a break from that and enjoy activities away from the screen :)

I studied English, French, German and Portuguese. My native language is Italian, and I can translate texts from the languages I've studied into Italian.

I can clean quite well I think, and I love cooking.

In the past Workaway experience I did some sanding and painting, cleaning and reception work, childcare, and translation work.

This is a very special place, it's warm and cosy and it has great energy, I immediately felt like home.
I think I should mention there are two (!) well equipped kitchens, so if you love to cook this is a great place :)
