Hi there!

My name is Maisie, and I am a 22 year old who is graduating from the University of St Andrews in June of 2024, with a degree in English and International Relations. I am from the United States originally, and I have been living in Scotland for the last four years for university. During my time in Scotland, I have had the opportunity to travel to France, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Austria, and I want to return to Austria this summer doing Workaway. I have done Workaway previously in central France and had an amazing experience working on a sustainable farm.

During my studies, I also work as a barista, and I have held other jobs in restaurants, cafés, and as a lifeguard at a local pool. Through these jobs, I have lots of experience talking to and helping other people, young and old. In my free time, I enjoy creative hobbies like knitting and crocheting. I like to make my own clothes and shop secondhand as I am very passionate about sustainable fashion. When traveling, I love thrifting and going to vintage stores and discovering locally made fashion. I also love to read and write in my journal, and I hope to write novels someday. I also life cooking for myself with a vegetarian diet. I have a very easygoing and bright personality!

I would love to join a Workaway with other fun-loving young people and have the chance to explore a new country!
