Description
We are both easy going, considerate, hard working and keen to meet people of all nationalities. We like to help as well as problem solve and enjoy living and contributing in communities and groups. For the past 7 summers we have been key team members at the Kalikalos Holistic Centre in Greece, (please see www.kalikalos.com ). Sabine and I also like to keep fit, dance and practice yoga.

Michael has 20 years experience on his own organic vegetable garden. He has been a WWOOfer (volunteer organic gardener) for over 25 years in the UK, France, Spain, Australia and the Canary Islands. He has building skills and has worked as a painter and decorator for a number of years before teaching. Michael taught art in mainstream and special schools with children from 11- 18, and as a Playgroup leader with children 6-11 years. He is also trained as an Art Therapist and has worked as a 1-1 therapist and group-facilitator with teenagers and adults.
Sabine is a trained architect and currently works as a theatre set designer and prop maker. She has very good building and crafts skills (i.e. sewing, house maintenance, shed building, and welding...) She has been working with adults with special needs in Germany and in the Camphill Communities, with teenagers with complex special needs in the UK. Sabine speaks fluent English. We are both beginners in speaking Spanish and Greek and are very keen to learn more !

We are both practicing artists and amateur musicians. Together we facilitate experimental painting & drawing workshops and when we travel we bring art materials with which we can share our ideas and skills with hosts.
