I'm Jenna. I was born and raised in Northern California. Now living in Lake Tahoe, I enjoy spending time snowboarding, biking, backpacking, and the like. Most of travel has been spent in the United States and Europe. Currently, I'm in Central America getting ready to take a Spanish class.

More details about my language interests
As an English speaker I've always found it interesting how people around the world are more likely to know English than any other language. However, I find it my responsibility to learn how to communicate with non-english speakers and better understand the commitment others put forth in learning English. Culture and language are beautiful and I am interested in helping others learn English just as much as I am interested learning other languages. When studying in Spain I became fluent in Spanglish (a joke my host mother and I had) and still study on DuoLingo to one day be fluent.
