Description

My name is Henry and I will be 19 in November. I live with my family in York, UK. I have just finished school, completing A-Levels in German, History and Politics. I am applying for University courses in German and History next year and in the meantime want to broaden my horizons by undertaking voluntary work in German-speaking countries. I love speaking German and am fascinated by the culture and history of Germany. I would enjoy and be able to contribute to a variety of jobs: I enjoy working outdoors, anything involving aspects of history (e.g. museum or tourism work), practical charity work (I volunteer making breakfasts for a homeless charity at home in the UK) and have a particular interest in heritage transport, especially steam engines.
