I first joined workaway in 2019, eager to do some solo travelling, I saw workaway as a great opportunity. I traveled to Ireland and worked in three separate hostels through workaway over a period of 5 months and loved every single one. I am now ready to set off on my next adventure. I've never shied away from hard work, I have spent over a decade in the restaurant industry so I am use to fast paced and sometimes challenging conditions. I love meeting new people and having good conversations. I am currently living in the capital of Canada: Ottawa. I have gradated from University with an honors degree in Human Rights and Social Justice. I am excited to continue learning and challenging myself but through a different platform, travel. I have had many wonderful opportunities to travel with my Mum to places like Haida Gwaii (BC), Iceland, Sable Island (NF) and Cuba. Through these experiences have been able to see that I want travel to be consistent part of my life.

In my day to day life I love keeping active in the summer whether it be running, hiking, cycling or snowboarding and snowshoeing in the winter. I love to sing, dance and read. I tell anyone who is thinking about solo travelling about Work Away as I have had such a positive experience and feel very fortunate that this platform exists.
