I am 29 years old and live in Windsor, Nova Scotia. I am currently a registered massage therapist (RMT) and an Early Childhood Educator but I am looking to give myself a little time off to volunteer/ learn this summer! After completing my Kinesiology degree from the University of Toronto, I took a year off and traveled to Alberta where I worked in Jasper National Park for 8 months before backpacking for 5 months through Australia and New Zealand. My hobbies include anything active (especially outdoors), yoga, reading, being around animals and doing artwork (painting/drawing). I have an adventurist spirit and I love experiencing new places and meeting new people. The last Workaway I did was to Yukon where I helped a family of 4 in everyday life. Before that I was in Hawaii where I worked in a tree-house bed and breakfast and had the time of my life! I am currently looking for another adventure but this time I want to explore my home country Canada, and discover its vast beauty.

*update: I am looking at gaining experience in homesteads / farming / gardening as this is my future dream life. Looking to volunteer in exchange for some fresh veggies.

I am a huge lover of the outdoors whether its gardening, building, animal care or just plain exploring. Ever since I was young I've helped my Dad create the most beautiful gardens and just love playing in the dirt! I have experience working at an Urban farm last summer where I prepped, planted, and maintained crops in exchange for a veggie basket. I have hospitality experience working in busy downtown Toronto as well as out in Jasper at the Fairmont hotels. I am now a massage therapist and work at a clinic downtown Windsor NS where I help people overcome old injuries/assist in rehab, and overall promotion of living a healthy lifestyle.
