Hello! I am a 22 year old, soon-to-be full time artist and muralist. I am ready to travel the world and share my gifts of creation and human connection with others, while learning about new cultures.
My next destination:Thailand - from Apr 2022 until May 2022 View all
I am inspired everyday by the beauty that surrounds me, which I experience everyday in nature, human connection, and love for life and adventure. The gratitude I feel in life brings me more joy than anything else, as I feel present everyday and consciously work towards being the best version of myself. I am currently a full-time student, and soon-to-be full time artist when my studies are complete in April of 2022. I am overcome with excitement as I plan my travels and unleash even more creativity through the learning of new cultures. My love for community and human connection drives my passion to meet like minded individuals and give back to as many communities as I can.

More details about your skills
I began my art journey when I learned how to paint oil landscapes through my mentor and hero, the late Bob Ross. I have grown my skills in landscapes, and recently decided to utilize my disability of partial blindness to further my artistic practice. I developed my art into a business in April of 2020. Since teaching art, live painting, winning art competitions and selling countless pieces of fine art and mural work, I feel I have only touched the surface of what the Art World has to offer me.
Since November of 2020, I have been instructing an art class at Options Community Services. I teach adult clients who struggle with their mental health how to paint with acrylics. This class has furthered my appreciation of the use of art as therapy and healing. This class runs weekly, where I spend two hours teaching the group new painting topics to inspire them and help with the mental healing process. I have a multitude of other volunteer and community engagement roles and experiences under my belt, including community safety, outreach, helping the homeless, and more.
Beyond my art and community engagement skills, I am an open minded person who is willing to step out of my comfort zone to experience the world from a new lens. I am very excited to give back to communities across the world with all that I have to offer.

What else ...
I will be traveling through Southeast Asia from mid April to mid June of 2022, as a graduation gift to myself. This is when I plan to expand my travels by staying with locals and giving back to the communities I travel to. This is my chance to further my understanding of what art is, was, and can be in Southeast Asia.
I am confident that my artistic vision will become a reality as I hone in on my potential through sharing my art with the world. I am a strong and determined worker, volunteer, and visionary, and my commitment to my community drives my inspiration to help other communities. My potential to heal others with my gift of artistic creation is something I am committed to share with others. Art is able to reach many people and give them hope, healing, and restoration, and it is almost unfathomable that I will be engaging in this process as a career. Every fiber of my being tells me that I am meant to make these connections and change the world. My mission right now is to learn as much as I can and impact others in the process. I want to change the notion of the starving artist, and get the message out that a successful artistic lifestyle is possible and it is ready for whoever is willing to take the leap. Through collaboration and unity, we artists may be able to restore the world.
