  • Description

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. If you like to have workawayers who are happy, hardworking, and most of all enthusiastic to learn about people and new ways of life, then I may be of use to you!

I am absolutely fascinated by people and their stories and love meeting and hearing new ones. I gained my bachelors degree in Anthropology (which is the study of people and cultures!) 6 months ago. I love the work I do, so I have held a vast array of job roles that include:

Reporting for regional UK newspapers (I want to be a journalist!).
Broadcasting on the radio (including for charity).
Volunteering in Nepal with Volunteering Services Overseas to aid international development.
Acting as an ambassador for the British Council in India.
Teaching Chinese students English in Tsinghua University, Beijing.
    Working in a barristers chambers.
Working in a top 100 UK law firm.
Team leading a cancer charity fundraising team.
    Teaching in Primary/Junior schools.
    Volunteering in hospitals.
    Gardening.
    Building on sites.
    Cleaning (including toilets!) in schools.
    Plus others!

I have worked/volunteered in England and abroad in countries including: Nepal, India, and China. Sometimes for many months, other times for a few weeks. I love animals, children and elderly people and happy to do any job no matter how small or new it is to me.

I hope I can use what I have learnt to help you reach your ambitions. In return, all I ask is you allow me to learn about you and your way of life (and a place to sleep would be great too!).
