My name is Anja and I´m 21 years old. I grew up in Salzburg (Austria), a beautiful city with mountains, lakes and an incredible downtown. Although I enjoy being here with all my necessities around me, from time to time I have to get out of my native country and see the world. I want to experience new cultures, visit new countries, meet new people and travel to new continents.
After I finished school, I went to Italy for a few weeks to do an Au-pair there and after that I went to Costa Rica to work in a social project for one year. That was an incredible experience and let me grow so much. Currently I am studying transcultural communication in Spanish and French, but my wish to travel doesn´t stop.
I love meeting up with friends, having deep conversations or just dancing and singing while listening to good music. I´m an outgoing and active person, although I need time for myself every now and then.
So far I have had two Workaway experiences, the Au-pair in Italy and working at a farm in France.

After school I gave lessons as a tutor in latin and worked as a barkeeper.
For one year I worked in a social circus project in Costa Rica. Giving kids and teenagers from poorer families and orphanages trainings in acrobatics and juggling. Currently I am doing the sports training for kids in elementary schools.
