I just finished remodeling and selling my house in Portland, USA and am heading to New Zealand on a work travel visa. I am very curious and love learning new things and meeting new people. I particularly like making/growing things with my hands or doing digital/graphic design. I studied Entrepreneurship and Business at University of Oregon and since then I have worked for a wide mix of businesses in many different capacities.
I worked in finance and accounting out of school for public companies and then consulted for a start up distillery, worked in customer service and marketing for a start up Auto garage, and then helped manage my family's awning business. I have also designed and build a lot of furniture and leather goods and spent several years making ceramics. While working at the auto garage I learned a ton about cars and rebuild the body of a totaled Jeep and replaced an engine in a Subaru outback.
I am looking for experiences that can help me grow as a person and I also want to better understand how other people live. I am very easy going, self-supporting and eager to workaway.

Project management, manufacturing, product design, graphics and architecture design. Welding. Carpentry. Sewing. Cooking. Gardening and Cultivation. I've grown at least 100 different types of plants, mainly food crops or indoor plants species.

Pattern building for bags, awnings, and other free form 3D fabric shapes.

Demolition and remodeling a residential house including replacing every fixture, light, outlet, switch, door, floors, bathrooms and kitchen. Tiling bathroom floors and making a tile shower. New cabinets and a kitchen island with a oak island top.

Ceramics; mainly wheel and glaze work with a bit of slip casting and mold building.
