Description

Hi, My name is Aline and I’m 23 years old. After going on a solo backpacking trip for 5 motnhs back in 2019, I decided to go travelling again. I'm thrilled to have a good time, meet other people and spread sun shine. I love to explore and to try out new things. In every country I like to experience the local lifestyle, mindset, religion and to meet as many locals as possible. I’m open-minded and happy to help where ever I can. Usually I’m fairly active and need to move a lot.

I grew up in a small mountain town close to the nature. I like hiking, swimming, skiing and mountain biking.
With 15 I started working (yes that's normal and legal in Switzerland ;) It was an commercial intership where I worked in an office and also went to school. After that I took a break to discover the world. The best decision I ever made!
I went to Australia to learn English. I’ve worked there as an au-pair (live-in nanny) for 7 months. I had an amazing time, living with my hostfamily, looking after 2 georgous little boys (2 and 4 years old) and discovering the great outdoors of Australia. A year later I went on a solo backpacking trip through South East Asia for 5 months, till unfortunately COVID hit :( I saw so many beautiful places, meet incredibly interesting people, fellow travellers but also locals and learnt a lot about different cultures, lifestyles, religions, mindsets... There I also did my first workaway stay in a NGO in Indonesia, Java. That was one of the best experiences of my trip! I'm still astonished how kind and open-hearted they were.

Last summer, I finished my business psychology Bachelor of Science degree. I've learnt a lot about the human behaviour, what was my favorite part about it.

Summarised the skills / knowledge I can offer: Language teaching, looking after kids, anything with marketing, digital business, videography, photography, oragnizing things, teaching about other cultures, waitress, bar, basic cooking skills...

More important: I'm a friendly, open-minded person, I love to learn new things, I'am easy going and easy to get along, not complicated and won't miss exciting things ;)
