Hello,

I'm Ailsa from Scotland. I have just finished working in a UK hospital and now taking a career break to travel and pursue some personal creative endeavours.

I love to travel and discover new places, people, cultures, languages, and food. I enjoy staying active skiing, running, swimming, and surfing as well as reading, writing, creating, and photography. I'm interested in health, veganism and the natural world.

I grew up in the mountains of rural Scotland but have been lucky enough to travel and work in France, Spain, Italy, Romania, Morocco, South Africa, and Swaziland.

I am hoping to find new connections and offer my skills and experience in hosting, travel & tourism, childcare, and creative projects. I'm also interested to learn new skills in farming and eco projects.

I have worked many jobs including ski instructor, nanny, cleaner, waitress, and pizza maker. I loved my long summer holidays working in campsites across Europe managing kids clubs and activities. I have qualifications in travel and tourism, sports leadership, BASI ski instructing, first aid, food hygiene, and childcare checks.

After finishing my studies, I worked at a surf camp in Morocco. I was the camp photographer and managed the social media accounts but also helped host guests. This was the beginning of my love for surfing and the ocean.

I then moved to the French Alps to care for 2 young children. I developed my French language skills and lived and cooked with the family.

Now I have finished two years working in a hospital and I'm ready for my next adventure. I hope to find new experiences and new friendships whilst having time for creativity and being outdoors.
