Hey there!

Adam here, a long time traveler originally from California/Arizona, now living for many years in Europe (Austria/German, Italy). I'm interested in extending my stay in Okinawa for 4-6 weeks.

I'm very interested in learning about Okinawan and Japanese culture, especially about the health and longevity discussed in the Blue Zones. I'm looking to exchange value, energy, knowledge, and experiences for a place to stay.

As a native English speaker and certified English teacher, I'm eager to engage in a cultural and language exchange opportunity. Specifically, I'm seeking a living arrangement with a local family interested in improving their English while I learn Japanese. Additionally, I can teach German, Spanish, and Italian, as well as offer computer and technology skills. I'm passionate about supporting the local community and fostering meaningful connections beyond typical tourist experiences.
