  • Description

Hi there! I'm Gosia – a copywriter, social media manager and most of all: a yoga teacher. Currently, on the next biggest adventure of my lifetime – one year in Japan. I have a working holiday visa and even though I work remotely I would love to dive a bit deeper into Japanese life, meeting people and culture at its best – and that's what workaway is best for, right?

I can help to spread the light of yoga and build social media presence as well as help with farm/gardening work - I've been raised by my grandma who showed me the love of everything that grows on Mother Earth. I love working with people, spreading body positivity and making people aware of their physical voice within.

Due to covid, I had only one experience with connecting through workaway back in 2020 in India and it was a fantastic experience. I'm incredibly excited for all the opportunities to meet new people, learn and experience so many new things!

  • More details about your skills

I studied communication management, specialising in branding at the University of Wrocław in Poland. During my university time, I did two international exchanges: one in Greece (journalism & communication) and one in Norway (media studies) as well as loads of internships in the communication and marketing field, in Poland, the UK, Spain and Malta, where I've been working for 2 years after graduating as a marketing executive at a small creative agency.

For the past 2 years, I've been focusing mostly on growing as a yoga teacher. I'm a Yoga Alliance Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Yin yoga teacher with 2 years of experience working at a yoga studio, leading numerous of workshops and yoga retreats. My interest is in how movement can help us interconnect with our mind, that is to say in psychosomatic studies. It was also a topic of my final thesis in the postgraduate yoga studies I did at the University of Wrocław last year.

I'm easy to connect with people and a fast learner. I'm open to learning new things, meeting new people and sharing my knowledge and stories.

I was brought up in a house with a huge garden so I have had my hands dirty with soil since I can remember - I'm happy to help with any kind of farm/gardening work.

My friends say I'm a really good cook, but that's a very delicate matter to say, especially in a place with such a good food as Japan :)
