  • Description

Hi, I'm Shaun. I'm an adventurous, energetic, outgoing, and hard-working 28 year old from sunny South Africa. I've been living the nomad life for the past 14 years, traveling the world, working on many exciting projects, meeting amazing people, and experiencing some spectacular and unique parts of this planet. From Africa to the Far East, I've built up a solid and varied set of skills. I've worked construction in Germany, taught English in China, and worked on creating a permaculture forest in Panama. I'm particularly interested in sustainable agriculture and Food-forests, as well as eco-tourism. I have a great love for animals, wild and not-so-wild. I'm currently learning Spanish. (Please see my mom, Laura's introduction, below)
Hi, I am Laura. I am an English native speaker from South Africa. I am an energetic adventurer who loves to travel and explore the world. Adventure runs through my veins. I have visited countries as diverse as Oman, Malaysia, Mozambique, Namibia, Sweden, Germany, Panama, Costa Rica and the Netherlands. I enjoy experiencing different cultures and I learned much during my travels. My passion is organic farming, permaculture, self-sufficiency, sustainability and the conservation of our resources and the well-being of our planet. I enjoy gardening and spending most of my time outdoors. I am friendly and easy to get along with. I love animals. I also enjoy learning new skills.I am a well organised person. I have worked in various environments: from secretarial work at embassies to managing the maintenance and upkeep of a guest farm and guest house in South Africa. I am also deeply interested in holistic, natural healing modalities. I'm currently learning German.
