My name's Samantha, I love traveling and learning about different cultures! I'm from a small town in Alberta, Canada, and am currently in my undergrad. I study Science and Business but specialize in biology. I love the ocean and take any chance I can to get closer to it. I love scuba diving (currently have my rescue cert.) and want to get more into freediving and surfing.

I've worked in a few different industries (sales, research, hospitality, project management, teaching, business development) and volunteered in several countries in Africa (South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique, Uganda). Whatever the job is that you're looking to fill, I can find a way to help you out and offer a few fun stories as well.

Some skills I have include cooking, painting, swimming, organizing, and talking with people. I also enjoy being outdoors to hike, ski, garden, and soak up the sun (as well as the water when I'm lucky). I also have novice skills in mechanics where I can change tires, do oil changes, and sometimes do bigger projects when required. I'm a rescue diver and also have my basic first aid and CPR.

I mentioned I am a very open-minded individual. This is what drives my passion to learn and will hopefully make me a great addition to the different environments each host presents!

I also love animals so if you have any cats/dogs/horses/etc... I'll be working to make them my best friends throughout my stay

I should also mention that I am active with online learning and do require access to the internet wherever I stay. I can easily manage any duties required by the host but figured it would be a useful piece of information to know. Thank you in advance!
