Hi! I'm Natasha, I'm from Chicago, USA! I've been traveling for some time now, living a nomadic lifestyle, which has been the most life-changing and incredible experience I could have ever dreamed of. I've met people all over the world who have reshaped who I thought I was and what's really important in life, and given me new perspectives and ideas to ponder. I believe that by stepping outside your "bubble" you can give and receive valuable insights and experiences and that's truly the beauty of life. It's sharing this beautiful world with others.

I have many qualifications of things I can share with a potential workaway host (and I'm a very conscientious worker). I have my bachelor's degree in psychology, a decade of yoga and martial arts training, several years of experience teaching English as a foreign language (including with sensitive populations), a decade of hospitality experience, management in a medical field, and plenty of other skills I'd be happy to share. I'm proficient in Spanish (just needs a little practice), and I am happy to get my hands dirty when needed! Some of my most rewarding experiences have been building blisters while farming!

But I think what's most important is that everyone leaves feeling like a world citizen, happier for knowing each other. An ideal workaway for me is an equal exchange of culture and positive experiences, to share a part of myself and becoming a part of your homestay or family.

I often travel with short notice (sometimes as little as a few weeks) but once I commit to plans you can count on me. I also do not drink or smoke or do drugs and prefer not to be offered these things. If you have any questions please let me know, I'm an open book! Thank you!

A yoga teacher, English teacher, hospitality worker, and office administrator- I'm a "jack of all trades"!

I graduated from Loyola University of Chicago, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor degree in Psychology and a minor in English. I have several years professional experience teaching English to children in Chicago and in Spain, and volunteer experience in other countries. I am currently the office manager at a dentist's office, and I also have been waitressing since I was 16. I am a hard worker and I have experience working in several different types of businesses, and I also have experience volunteering in different settings. I enjoy creating spreadsheets, organizing data, and finding ways to optimize efficiency. I have 7 years experience in self-defence training, and I'd be happy to share my knowledge of yoga or martial arts!
