Hi!
My name is Melina and I`m 23 years old. I grew up in Berlin, Germany, where I live now again after quitting professional circus education in Turin in November.
Last summer I received my Bachelor in Social Work, Movement and Dance and completed my apprenticeship as a social worker after working in a day structure for mentally disabled people for three years.
Before starting to study I've traveled around in Europe quite a bit and primarily worked on farms with a few animals and loaaaads of veggies. I totally fell in love with being outdoors all day long with my hands in the soil, which is a sensation I truly miss in my everyday life ever since and which is why I really want to get back to it, also to deepen my skills in that field. At the moment I work in a dance school and give circus workshops for schools and continue studying online.
I have lived in Berlin all my life and I love it for it's diversity. There are so many things to do, people to meet and opportunities for everyone, it is just a very colourful big city. However it does get very noisy and intense from time to time which is why I seek nature and the calm every once in a while. I simply love spending time outside and getting my hands dirty.
I've always been interested in arts and get inspired easily by traveling. I still do a lot of acrobatics and dance in a contemporary circus here, I always need to keep moving. :)
While traveling it's also always important to me to really get in touch with the people I'm surrounded by and their backgrounds and ways of thinking when they also feel like it while trying to help out in every way possible. I long to get inspired and I'm very eager to learn!
I would describe myself as an open-minded, active and curious person who feels ready to leave her well-known surroundings again, to explore new fields of work and ways of living and make some good memories.
I´ll be in Turin again in April to watch the end of first year show of my former circus school and to meet some lovely people I left behind there and would love to stop in a lovely mountain place with garden/farm work for a little getaway from the city.Interests

I fell in love with the Italian language while living in Turin again and want to learn it! I´ll try to take some classes in the next few months here so that I´ll be able to speak at least a little when I´ll be in Italy again. In return I can offer German of course and depending on your level of course, I think I could teach some English as wellSkills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

In my freetime I am part of a contemporary circus group and train acrobatics and trapeze, meaning that I am able to fulfill physically challenging tasks and it's not too easy to exhaust me ;)
In 2019 and 2020 I went to 3 different farms via workaway for about a month each and learned primarly about vegetable harvesting and animal care.
Besides that, I have helped out in different projects around a small garden house my father reconstructed and rebuild over the last years, especially in the garden. Besides, I enjoy cooking. I do not have pets but my girlfriend has a horse which I often spend time around and I used to love walking the dog of our neighbors. I enjoy being around animals and just outside in nature in general.Age

What else ...
In 2016/17 I went abroad to live with a host family in Cork, Ireland for 10 months and I absolutely loved it. I learned how to live together with a big family in a small place and how to be independent.
Aaaaand I used to do yoga there but unfortunately I don't find time for it ever too often here in Berlin due to all the other sports I do.... I'd love to change that though! Some more information

Right from the beginning Kiki made clear that her place is a stress-free zone, the only stress present would be self induced. They really are the most relaxed people I have ever stayed with.
When I think back of my stay I did paint quite a few walls, cleared some beds and… read more
