  • Description

We are Rita and Charlotte, a happy positive couple, we've been together for 10 years and we recently got married.
We are both from London originally, we've been traveling and working around the world for the past 8 years.

We're both passionate about our wonderful planet, living with care for our surroundings and eager to learn new skills to help us with our future plan of buying land and building our own home.

We love food and we eat a plant based diet, no meat or dairy.

We want to learn about growing, planting and anything and everything about living sustainably.
Whilst living in Iceland we worked on an organic farm, we learnt how to grow vegetables using the geothermal activity.
We both have a strong interests in yoga and meditation, expanding the connection to ourselves, nature and the universe.

2 years ago we converted a van into a tiny home, it was one of our proudest experiences as we had no prior knowledge or skills of how to build anything. We now have some carpentry skills, electrical skills ( 12V ) and experience with solar. Our van is waiting for us back in the UK.

We love all animals and we have worked at sanctuaries in the UK and in India. We've done housesitting in the UK, America and Italy.

We both teach english as a foreign language online. This is our full time job.
We are flexible, depending on the situation we can work less hours and be adaptable.

We welcome any future opportunities and if things align we will see you soon!
Thanks for taking the time to read about us!
    :)

  • Age

    35 & 33

  • What else ...

We practise yoga and mediation and this is something we want to explore more. We have done ceremonies in the past and are open to more experiences and diving deeper into our spiritual journey.
We both love the outdoors, trekking and exploring new places.
We love to workout and move our bodies.
We love being in the water, swimming, snorkelling, body boarding.
We both try to practise mindfulness and kindness, as we believe the positive energy you put into the world is what you get back.

In 2017 whilst working in Scotland at the Black Isle Wildlife Park ,we discovered horrendous living conditions and lack of basic welfare for the animals, after meetings with the council, creating a petition and going to the press, we got the place shut down and all of the animals rehomed. This is something we are both really proud of and it taught us that through perseverance and the coming together of people, we can do anything!
