Hi there :)
My name is Lotte, I'm from the Netherlands and work as a sustainability advisor for the government and as a yoga teacher.
In 2017 and 2018 I volunteered in several eco building and farming projects in the USA, Canada and Australia. I volunteered at places for a month and did mostly building, art, farming activities and animal caretaking. This volunteering work changed my life. Not only because of the beautiful people I met and things I have learned, but also because I learned to listen to my heart.
I love to help, clean, cook, create, build en take care of animals and people.
People would say I'm social, kind, love to help others, take initiative, can work solo easily but also love working in a team, learn pretty fast and work hard.
In my spare time I love to do yoga, read, cook, hike, go to the sauna, make art and off course be with friends and family. And maybe good to know; I am a vegetarian. :)

She worked tirelessly on our roof, cutting and nailing the tongue and groove, she drove the bobcat and seived earth for the walls, she helped make our last rammed earth wall, and she cut brackets with the plasma cutter. I stayed at Julie's place for 1,5 week instead the 3 weeks I had planned. Unfortunately this was not the place for me. Julie has a lot of rules, such as food rationing, and the energy was stressed and negative.

Lotte was very kind to the dogs and could work hard when engaged. Unfortunately, she left 3 weeks earlier than planned due to concerns about structure that was created by past workawayers and has helped ensure a good routine for the dogs and organized activities with 4-6 workwayers. Even though Lotte stayed with us for less then a week ! Lotte jumped in to our systems, often tricky and different! Off grid, rocket outside stove etc! Jehane is a lovely person and makes you feel at home.
She's a very creative person and makes beautiful things. From the earth-bag-houses to bottle-walls. The place is one creative and inspirational environment.
