Im really hoping to have an opportunity during my gap year to go somewhere and do something whatever that is. I’d like to help out and use my time effectively while I figure out what I want to do further in the future. I very much enjoy playing and watching sports here in Canada hockey is part of our day to day so I’ve grown up in a place that values the importance of having something to root for and stand beside. My goal is too have an experience helping out some people in whatever way I can as well as creating memories and meeting people that Il remember and hopefully keep in touch with for a long time.

I’ve always enjoyed hands on work I find it very rewarding and enjoyable. Things like farming and gardening as well as potentially interacting with animals would be an ideal fit for me as opposed to being inside all the time. I’m really interested and fascinated in history especially European history and would love to visit some historical sites depending on where I’m able to go. As for my skills I am quite good with kids and have been a camp counsellor for a few different camps here. I taught a bunch of kids how to bike safely on the road as well as teaching some to ride without training wheels. I’m also a certified lifeguard and a strong swimmer.
