Description

I am an adventures person who loves to travel. I can fit into any place or with any kind of person, with ease. I always have a smile on my face and truly appreciate everything life has to offer. I have always been a lover of animals and a I find the mistreatment of them very distressful. It has been a life long desire of mine to be able to be in a position where I can help and support them, whether voluntary or paid. I have volunteered in several rescue centres for dogs and cats in Thailand, Cambodia and here in England. I have learnt to recognise their body language and how to spot signs of illness.
I have worked in several different professions such as the Ambulance Service, the Prison Service, (RNIB) Royal National Institute for the Blind, Residential care for Children and Mental. Helping abused or abandoned animals fills me with happiness and I find it very rewarding. There is nothing else in life that I would rather be doing.

Having worked in a variety of professions, I have learnt many transferable skills like empathy, patience, following or giving clear instructions, remaining calm in difficult or stressful situations. My greatest skill is the ability to get along with people. I believe my kindness and loyalty shows through and I have a great sense of humour. Animals seem to graduate towards me as if they know I will be kind to them. I am a very hard worker and I will give anything a go.

My passion is tennis. I have played for many years and I love it. I also enjoy walking and swimming, especially in the sea. I read a lot.
