I'm planning to do a workaway trip from February and forth. I'm open for a lot of things, but my main goal is to learn more about sustainable farming practises, I'd be happy to connect!:)

Hello there!
I'm an environmental coordinator currently employed at a housing company in Gothenburg, Sweden. I've bought an interrail ticket and will be quitting my job in December, in order to come closer to nature and closer to something that feels more authentic than sitting behind a desk all day writing endless with emails... I'm longing for the feeling of soil in my hands, clean air, less noise, more movement and perhaps some interesting insights into alternative ways of producing food and living life.
My plan for this spring is to start my journey in France since I recently realized I want to learn french and learn more about France in general. I'm also looking forward to reduce my screen time and replace it with reading books and go on adventures in new landscapes. We'll see where this adventure will take me!
I like to meet people and gain new experiences. At the same time, I'm also very independent and have no problem being on my own for longer periods of time, so you don't have to feel like you need to be social and hang out with me if you don't want. People often describe me as calm and friendly. At work I'm good at socializing and communicate. I have no problems with teamwork, but I'm also used to take own responsibility. I also like physical work and to be outdoors. Wouldn't say I'm super strong or skilled but I enjoy things like garden work and to clean stables for example.
I like animals and nature a lot. I also like cooking and eating food, yoga, running, learning about history, and languages. I'm very interested in sustainable agriculture practices and would like to learn more about it. I would also love to try some carpentry if anyone has the time and patience.
I've traveled a bit before and I'm used to live with strangers. For example I went to France once in an exchange program and stayed with a family there for a while, I've been traveling in the US visiting distant relatives that I barely met before, and many years ago, I did some workawaying. I also worked as an au pair for a while back in the days. It's such a great opportunity to learn about culture, get new skills, and gain new perspectives and experiences.

I can cook pretty good, according to myself. Give me a recipe and I'll try my best! I also bake bread and cakes.
In my previous jobs cleaning and tidying were common task, so there's no problem for me to do this.
Gardening, farming, help with ecoproject/animal care: I have been workawaying before and then I worked on farms and at a dog shelter. Therefore I'm used to do garden work and some animal care (including milking goats as the picture shows, even though I'm far away from being a pro at this...). I'm not super strong or skilled yet, but I'm at least stubborn. Would love to practice and develop new skills in this field!
Help with tourists: I have no previous experience from this field but since I'm pretty communicative, knows english and some german (B1-level) and is used to help people in other ways, it would be really interesting and I would be very excited to try this kind of work. Whenever I'm in a city wether it's Gothenburg or Vienna, I am the person that everyone is asking questions to about the way to famous churches or how to find the right bus to that one specific park, perhaps I automatically radiate tourist help or something ;)Age
