Cheerful, energetic, and professional adult lady wants to take up travelling again.
Having had focus on my kids for the past 25 years, a new epoch has begun as my youngest has left home.

I work in the management team of Scandinavia's largest a la carte restaurant in Tivoli, Copenhagen - and love it.

I'm an educated geoscientist and also have a large interest in botanics, learning languages, and understanding different cultures. I love all animals.

Work experience:
- did my first workaway in North Iceland on a sheep farm and loved it. Excited to travel for my second workaway experience
- teaching science and math
- teaching English
- marketing incl. online marketing
- tourist guide both on nature excursions (island of Bornholm) and at the Danish National Geological Museum
- physiological and sports massage therapist
- childcare, I have brought up two kids and done an amazing job of it :D Have also worked as an au-pair twice and taught both at elementary and high schools
- hotel and restaurant (reception, waiter, bartender, management)

Other skills:
- really good at up-cycling. I make carpets from old t-shirts and scarfs from old bed linen
- can crochet and sew

As a kid/teenager I lived for 5 years in Brighton, England, later I spent a year in Iceland (Reykjavik and on the Vestmann Islands), and six months in Norway. I've also lived on the island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea for six years.

What else ...

My job in the local tourist industry means I can travel outside of the Danish tourist seasons. This will be for a couple of short (2-3 weeks) terms during the autumn and spring, plus all of January + beginning of February.
