Description
Hello :)
My name is Kristen but I also go by Kay.
I have a very adventurous spirit. I feel most alive while experiencing new things. Whether that’s a simple walk through a newly discovered part of town, hiking a volcano in a foreign country or learning a new task, immersing my senses into unfamiliar territory is by far my favorite thing to do.
I’ve traveled through every country of Central America as well as Colombia and, currently, Ecuador, in South America. I’ve also spent time in Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, Sweden, Scotland and India. I'm going to be heading to Bolivia and Argentina in the coming months!
I love people. I love nature. I love animals (especially goats!). I love food, wine and yoga.
I try to be as optimistic as possible and I easily roll with the punches. I am a very open person and I’m looking to make any and all connections with this beautiful world we live in.Interests

My work experience has been mostly service industry for the past 15 years, but I'm trying to transition my hard work ethic into something more fruitful, more fulfilling, more meaningful. I'd like to bow out of the big city scene and bow into the more rural, simpler scene!
I have excessive travel experience in Central America and quite a bit elsewhere.
I love learning new things and that is why I am here. My focus in Argentina will be on learning eco-friendly ways of living and the basic ins and outs of self sufficient farming, but I am open to whatever life throws at me! Whether I can help you gain a better understanding of my native language or teach you some yoga or maybe how to make a proper cocktail, I hope to provide a meaningful service exchange, as well.Age
