Kate:
I grew up on a pig farm outside of Portland, Oregon, where I gained firsthand experience with farm life and caring for animals. As the middle of three daughters in a bilingual household, I was raised speaking both English and German and hold dual U.S.–German citizenship. In June 2025, I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and minors in Business. I enjoy hands-on work, thrive outdoors, and am reliable, hardworking, and comfortable with both animals and general farm tasks. I am flexible regarding dates and am looking for a new experience to learn from while contributing wherever needed.
Osmand:
I grew up in Newberg, Oregon, on a farm raising cows, which gave me plenty of experience with animals, tractors, and general farm work. In 2024, I graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Biochemistry and a focus in Neuroscience. Along with farm skills, I enjoy gardening, baking, and hospitality. English is my first language, and I’m learning Spanish. Friends would describe me as reliable, hardworking, and easy to get along with. I’m excited to join a new environment where I can contribute, learn, and share in the experience.

We bring strong logistical thinking and problem-solving skills, which help me work efficiently and adapt to challenges on the farm. We enjoy hands-on, physical work and don’t shy away from getting dirty, whether it’s gardening, caring for animals, or general farm maintenance. With experience in vineyard harvests as well as daily farm tasks, we are comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions. We approach every job with a positive mindset, and value clear communication and teamwork to get things done well.

What else ...
In our free time, we enjoy activities that are both social and relaxing. We love playing cards—especially Cameo and Hearts—as well as doing puzzles, Sudoku and gardening. Staying active is also important to us, and we enjoy playing tennis and spending time outdoors. Cooking is another passion of with, with chicken curry and any form of pasta being our favorite dish to prepare and share with others.
