Hello there!
I am Ginger, 26, born and raised in Germany.

I guess this is what every person says about themselves, but I'm generally an open-minded and friendly person that is known to laugh a lot, even at terrible jokes. Whether I need to work in a team or independently, I have no problems adapting to new situations and I love to learn new things (as well as teaching my skills to others!)
I've worked as a freelancer for the last years in a very creative field (2D Animation and Design) and while it is fulfilling, I miss traveling and working physical jobs, which is why I returned to Workaway!

++++++ Work Experience ++++++
° Work in a busy international hostel in Dublin (housekeeping; breakfast buffet; help with guests; organizing events)
° Work as a waitress and kitchen assistant in a vegetarian restaurant
° Work as a reception assistant in a Bed&Breakfast Hotel
° Animal care:
Internship in an animal shelter and one month working at a cat rescue in Spain
Dog walking and training
° Childcare (lots of experience with 2-6 year olds; internship in a kindergarten)
° Voluntary work with elementary school kids (homework help and after school activities)
° Independent work as an illustrator/animator, merchandise design and various creative projects

As for languages, I'm fluent in both German and English, but I have also learned a fair amount of French, Spanish, Korean & a little bit of Romanian - if I travel somewhere I generally try to pick up the native language a bit!

I'm generally very low maintenance and easy to host and I value honesty a lot so it's easier to get along without misunderstandings and conflicts. Communication is key!!!

I love creative projects of any kind, especially involving art & music, I love playing guitar and singing with others (even though I don't sing that well :D )
