I'm interested in all sorts of things. I love cooking, especially baking around Christmas time, music and also I plan to take a few surfing lessons, where else if not in Australia ?!
My next destination:
Australia - from Nov 2023 until Nov 2024 View allDescription
Hello everyone,
my name is Elisa and I'm form Northern Germany (we proudly refer it as the West Coast) :D
More than 2 years ago I had my first experience with workaway in Italy, and I loved it.
I made true friends there and will for always cherish these memories.
Plus, I learned some Italian which I take very care of and am very proud ;)
In Italy I helped with different sorts of work outdoors and indoors, though mostly outdoors, for instance, love harvest, help feeding the animals, clean the sheds/barn, help with household, etc.
What I cherish most is the intercultural exchange, learn to see the world from a different viewpoint, and also just have a nice time, be it during a bbq, a movie night or whatever :)
As I find myself in a phase of professional reorientation, I decided 1 year ago to get the Working Holiday visa for Australia, just in case..now the time has actually come and I've decided to make my thirties something very special and memorable..come to Australia, get insight into different professional sectors, but most important, I want to meet nice and open-minded people who I can share these experiences with.
About me:
I am a very social and open-minded person, I love animals and working in the outdoors (the best contrast to working in front of a screen 8 hrs. a day), I am happy to teach my language or French and the bits and pieces of Italian I know, should you be interested.
Also, I am passionate about baking and trying new recipes, so with me, chocolate is never too far away.Interests

I've worked several times as a babysitter and I've worked as an AuPair, caring for two young children (4 and 2 yrs.). I've also worked in a bakery (in sales) for about 6 months.
After that I started in Marketing, coordinating processes, helping with smaller graphics work (In Design, Canvas), helping with Social Media, Website, etc.
I actually being creative when it comes to these works.
My work here centres around administration and my eyes are mostly glued to the screen while being indoors, so now I search to reorientate myself professionally, though I still like being creative and helpful with that, should you need helps with that.
However, I am very open now to get to know other areas, such as farmwork, for example.
During my last stay as a volunteer in Italy I've also done some hard work, like harvesting olives or gardening, both of which were at times physically demanding. So I'm very okay with that too!
I speak German, English and French and also basic Italian.
I am always happy to help out with a language :)Age
