Description
Im really passionated about Sports, basically any type of sport but especially football, climbing, swimming and running.
Also i love to connect sport with nature and thats why I love to hike in the mountains or go for a run in a forest (i would never go running in a city).
I enjoy being alone in the nature and for myself as I think that is very important for a person to be able to be alone and still enjoy it. None the less, I do love to share that experience with some close friends, playing cards or simply talk about EVERYTHING.

Another passion of mine has to be languages, as Im studying to be a spanish (and sports) teacher. I like both, the educative and the linguistic part of it. Spanish literature has me passioned since I have studied half a year in Granada and since I read the infamous Don Quijote.
Other than spanish I am now learning italian and french in a autodidactic way and wanna get better at them. Its a beautiful way to connect with the culture of a country and get in touch with people.

Another way, in my opinion the best way, to get to know a culture is through the cuisine, which is one of the reasons why i love cooking and exploring new recipes (and of course because i get to eat tasty food :D). I gotta say that i REALLY enjoy food and making it. But I always try to connect tasty and healthy food and i love the challenge of it.
I love to make everything from scratch, for example bread, pasta or jams. I love to collect my own food in the forest such as mushrooms and berries, which makes a dish even more satisfying.

So, for the beginning i gotta say that i dont got a lot of experience in gardening, carpenting or stuff like that.
I do am working as a gardener, but I mostly do the "dirty work" so i dont got to know how to properly maintain a self sufficient garden. I do have a little herb garden and i planted tomatoes this year.
None the less I am really passionated about learning to do that, as i want to have a little garden with some plants that i can grow myself (thats the reason i wanna work as a workawayer, in order to learn to do that)
I consider myself as a strong person and I have no Problem what so ever with hard work or motivating myself. Im used to work 10 hours a day or even more.
I guess my hard skills arent that impressive but i think my softskills are, as im learning fast, can work on my own or with other people and im able to adapt to any task there is.

So, that being said, i am in my third year of studies for becoming a spanish and sports teacher, so i am able to teach languages (spanish and german). My studies are also focused a lot on the educative part of being a teacher and would love to take care of children or to show somebody a new language.

Oh yeah, and im a good cook :)
Im really passionated about cooking and since my two years of student life ive never eaten in the cantine (i always cooked for myself and brought it to the university)
I can also make bread as my father used to be a baker.

A very important thing a gotta mention is, that Im searching a place where i can stay from november to january. Im not interested in short time working places, as i really wanna try a calm, minimalistic and alternative way of living without a lot of travelling.

This is also due to my plan for this semester:
As this wintersemester is gonna be online, I thought that I could take advantage of it and dont study from home, but from away. That way I can learn new things and have a other way of living, while im studying. Im really willing to put in the effort that is needed for it. So i will have no problem with working throughout the week and studying in my freetime. I will only need internet access and a little bit of freedom with my schedule. I will try to have my classes in the afternoon so that i can work in the morning. Sadly, i still dont know when exactly im gonna have my classes, as my schedule will be anounced in late october. I really hope we can have an agree on that.

Mientras otros se conforman con tener un huerto y unas gallinas, el proyecto de Antonio va más alla de eso. Se trata de vivir con la naturaleza y de lo que nos ofrece, de manera ecológica y sostenible. Todo lo que damos a la naturaleza, ella se nos devuelve. Claro está, que para ello es necesario trabajar, como puede ser la tierra o cuidar los animales y las plantas, traer leña y construir cosas. Antonio, básicamente, tiene experiencia en todos los ofocios artesanales y él mismo ha construido su casa. Es un crack! :)

Trabajo aquí siempre hay y se necesita gente que ayude para que el proyecto pueda avanzar. Quiero dejar claro que aquí no se viene para hacer vacaciones, sino es necesario hacerse las manos sucias y trabajar! Las cosas buenas de la vida no se obtienen a lo facil, sino a veces es necesario trabajar duro. Todos los que vienen solamente para pasarlo bien, ese no es el lugar para ello.
En cambio podéis experimentar una vida completamente autosuficiente en medio de la naturaleza, viviendo con lo que hay y disfrutando de la tranquilidad, el silencio, el aire y también del agua de las fuentes de ese lugar. Quizás esa vida no sea para todos, pero para los que disfrutan esos momentos pequeños, es algo bonito y que vale la pena.

Hace 10 años Antonio empezó su proyecto y aún está en desarollo, hacen falta muchas cosas que hacer (por ejemplo un invernadero), para que uno se pueda ya permitir trabajar menos. Por eso algunas cosas aún están algo improvisadas, como puede ser el refugio que aún no puede acoger a muchas personas y no hay que esperar a una casa. Para que el proyecto siga avanzando y pueda acoger más gente, es necesario gente comprometida que quiera ayudar.

Yo he estado ahí en invierno y también quiero decir que ahí hace mucho frio y viento, llueve,y además puede nevar (como ha sido en mi caso). Aún así hemos aprovechado de la situación y montado un trineo para tirarnos de las cuestas que ofrecen las montañas alrededor xD. Para mi personalmente ha sido una experiencia importante que han animado mis planes de una vida más autosuficiente, sostenible y en harmonía con la naturaleza. Me ha ayudado mucho.

Total, que ese proyecto no es para todos! aún así, se los recomiendo a ellos que quieren aprender y son dispuestos a hacer algo para ello, para los que quieren experimentar una vida distinta, una vida en harmonía con la naturaleza donde una vive de ello que él mismo produce, siempre de manera sostenible. Yo personalmente, he entendido que una vida como esa hace feliz y es una respuesta a los problemas de la modernidad. Gracias Antonio :)

The place where Antonio's refuge is located is exceptional! It is in the middle of nature and 30 km from the next city. If someone likes silence and wants to experience an alternative life away from the cities, this is the right place.
Antonio's project is a special one and he is fully committed to self-sufficiency. While others are satisfied with having a vegetable garden and a few chickens, Antonio's project goes beyond that. It is about living with nature and what it offers us, in an ecological and sustainable way. Everything we give to nature, it gives back to us. Of course, this requires work, such as working the land or taking care of the animals and plants, fetching firewood and building things. Antonio, basically, has experience in all the craft trades and has built his own house. He is a machine! :)
There is always work here and people are needed to help so that the project can move forward. I want to make it clear that you don't come here for vacations, you need to get your hands dirty and work! The good things in life are not easy to get, sometimes it is necessary to work hard. All those who come here just to have a good time, this is not the place for them.
Instead you can experience a completely self-sufficient life in the middle of nature, living with what there is and enjoying the tranquility, the silence, the air and also the water from the springs of that place. Perhaps this life is not for everyone, but for those who enjoy these small moments, it is something beautiful and worthwhile.
Antonio started his project 10 years ago and it is still in development, there are still many things to be done (for example a greenhouse), so that one can afford to work less. For this reason some things are still a bit improvised, like the shelter, which is not yet able to accommodate a lot of people and tdont expect to find yourself with a house.For the project to move forward and to be able to accommodate more people, we need committed people who want to help.
I have been there in winter and I also want to say that it is very cold and windy, it rains, and it can snow (as it has been in my case). It has helped me a lot.

Anyway, this project is not for everyone! Even so, I recommend it to those who want to learn and are willing to do something for it, for those who want to experience a different life, a life in harmony with nature where one lives from what he himself produces, always in a sustainable way. Me personally, I have understood that such a life makes one happy and is an answer to the problems of modernity. Thank you Antonio :)
