Hello. We are Bruno and Simone, both born and raised in Portugal, currently living and travelling within Germany. We have been doing volunteer work for years and so decided to join Workaway to continue our travels and help whenever we can. Some of the reasons why we chose to travel are to try new things, new experiences, learn from other cultures, and immerse ourselves in a different environment.

In our free time, we love to indulge ourselves in outdoor activities like hiking, wild camping and exploring new areas. When indoors we tend to spend most of our time listening to music, reading or studying, watching movies, doing yoga and searching for new adventures.

We are open-minded and easy to get along with, hard workers, organised, reliable and fast to adapt to any situation. We work very well in a team environment as well on our own initiative.

We are both very passionate about nature and animals so we prefer to be involved in projects more directed to the outdoors, animal care or sustainable projects. However, we're up to any challenge! Bruno studied Biology at university and loves to do wildlife photography. Simone is a dog training student and so wants to be more involved with them, but loves all of our furry friends.

We would be a caring and considerate guests, willing to execute any tasks that need to be done and to provide help whenever needed.

We don't have experience in teaching a language but we are more than happy to help with some basics from English to Portuguese. Even though we are fluent in English we would like to perfect it even more.

We have a range of skills from various jobs and experiences, and we're always willing and eager to learn more as we go.
Bruno grew up on a farm and developed many skills, mostly involving handiwork and general maintenance.
Simone spent the last year working with dogs, mainly dog walking and pet sitting which gave her experience in animal care.
We also have a lot of experience in DYI, customer service, hospitality/bar, housekeeping and gardening.
We're fast learners, highly motivated and always willing to learn new skills in order to enhance our abilities. We are sure that we can turn our hands to anything with little instruction or advice.

We actually meet at work so we already know how to function as a team, and we make a great one. When one doesn't know how, the other is always ready to give a hand.
