Hello,
I'm currently leaving and working at the British Virgin Islands as cook/ first mate on a sailing catamaran. We are only 2 crew me and captain and we hosto up to 8 pp. This trip is services but I'm a geographer with master degree in Regional development and environment, most of my background profisional experience from 2004 until 2016 is relate to agroforestry organic farms, enviromental conservation. I also runned projects which i was coordinating big groups (students, farmers or volunteers and staff) for NGOs. I have a large experience with biologic cacao production, from tree to bar, including raw cacao and raw recipes with cacao. I used to do a tasting and explanation about it also with a experience of making your own energetic cacao balls. I love animals all sort of it, except not like to live with rats and big spiders (small are ok) at the same room , ;) I love to cook and learn about plants food, culture and people! I have references from all my jobs and volunteering experiences.

I'm from Brazil my home town, where i grew up is Rio de Janeiro, but since i was 18 i moved a lot around brazil most of the time Bahia and half of a year at amazon. I like to surf, to do trekkings, bike. I'm a nature and old architecture lover.
References: I'm new here but i did volunteer work at Monte Casteleja (winemarker tasting and B&B Farm At Lagos Portugal) and Mundo Nuevo Minca Hostel (as cook) Colombia and I have references from my job at the sailboat.
References and recommendations From: Goeran Persson Relationship: Captain Of S/Y Quest Isabel Sollberg has been working on board S/Y Quest as cook / first mate from 26 November 2016 to 28 January 2017. S/Y Quest is a 60 foot sailing yacht and during the time Isabel worked on board we have been sailing the route: Cartagena – San Blas – Panama with passengers. We have been doing 3 trips a month and every trip is 5 days and approximately 300 nm. S/Y Quest is taking 10 passengers on this trips and the crew consist of Captain and cook / First mate. Isabel's responsibilities during her time on board Quest was to provisioning for each trip and cooking 3 meals a day for 12 persons, as well as maintenance and cleanliness of the interior. She also took 3 hours night watch the three nights we were at sea on each trip. Although Isabel has limited experience from working on a yacht she is very motivated and a quick learner, and during night watches I trusted her judgement hundred percent for her to call me when she was in doubt. Isabel gets along easily with everybody and she was much loved and appreciated by all passengers sailing on Quest during her time on board. She is a lovely and kind person and will bring a positive spirit to any yacht she will sail on. Isabel left Quest after the two months we agreed she would work here as she already had other plans. She would be more then welcome to work on Quest again and I can highly recommend her to anyone requiring her services in the future. If you need any further information do not hesitate to contact me.
