(Introduction)
Hi there!
Our names are AP and Roza, we are currently residing in Minneapolis Minnesota following a year of work-exchange based travel and education in 2022. AP has been WWOOFing on and off since 2015, and Roza began WWOOFing in 2021. Between the two of us we have skills in sustainable agriculture, animal care (goats/geese/chickens/dogs etc.), carpentry, landscaping, homesteading, hospitality, childcare and more! The two of us are pretty easy going, work hard, and love to learn. Eventually we would like to have our own farm, and are pursuing work-exchanges in order to help build a sturdy foundation of knowledge around sustainable living and farming. Outside of work we both enjoy making art, cooking big family style meals, making music, and pursuing joyful interests. This coming year, we are also going to be traveling with our little cat named Shun! She is a riot, we call her feisty girl. She is very small, well behaved in her home, and a bit cautious around humans. We’d love to find some long term work-exchange opportunities this year that give you (whoever you are), us, and her a stable home. Thank you for reading about us, we’d love to talk more, feel free to reach out if your interested in working with us! Thanks!
(Why Work Exchanges?)
WWOOFing has been an incredible experience for the both of us. Growing up without direct ties to farming, we both felt immediately drawn to this lifestyle from our first work-exchanges. Both of us are drawn towards leading more sustainable lives, working in careers that are joyful (hard work included), and keep us on our toes. Farming often feels like magic, working so close to the earth and paying attention to the details of growing crops, animal behaviors, and climate. With a world so distracted by media, working in jobs that quite literally keep us grounded feels important to the both of us. We are motivated to WWOOF because we understand the value of work-exchanges, of working beside master farmers, home-builders, and stewards of the earth. We also hope that these experiences help us form ideas for our own future, that help to educate us in ways that will carry into what we create ourselves.Interests

What else ...
(Roza) I am a big fan of rock climbing (bouldering), kickboxing, gardening, and community child care. I love to make music and visual art. A extra good day for me would include swimming, going to the farmers market, and then cooking a big meal for all of my loved ones. Currently I am also in the process of pursuing an education in Environmental Science!
(AP) I love to make things. Creating is one of the major driving forces in my world. I am happiest when I am learning, making art, food, and developing projects. I love being active outside, bouldering, hiking, and biking. A good day for me would include: waking up early to drink coffee and read, making art, writing, and cooking for my friends. Currently I am also in the process of becoming a Death Doula/ Working in Death Care. Some more information

We were so lucky to host AP for a few months, who did so much to make other Workawayers and guests feel at home. Hardworking, and any host would be lucky to host AP!
