We are a Cattle Company located in the central cariboo region of British Columbia. We are about 40 kilometers south of Quesnel.
Our family run ranch consist of a total of 1800 acres divided into three parcels. One of which is a 600 acre island in the middle of the Fraser River, and another which runs along the Fraser River both have homesteads on them. The other is 700 acres of pasture in the high country connected to our summer range for our cows.
Our ranch consists of 250 cow/calf pairs, 75 chickens, a few pigs, horses and dogs. We also run a market garden.
Now, let us introduce ourselves. We are Maggie and Zach. We moved here to the cariboo in 2007. We started with a cow/calf operation and expanded into the market garden. Zach’s fiancée, Robyn has now joined us and a baby on the way!
Internet not available, but we do go to Quesnel once a week and there are many free, wireless cafes and of course McDonalds, were you can catch up on your emailing and internet use.
Minimum 4 week stay required with an evaluation at two weeks.

We would like you to help us with all this involves. Changing irrigation, working cattle, mending fences and tending to the gardens. There also will be some tractor driving, if qualified. We would like people that are self-motivated, hard-working and with a keen desire to learn. We will be working together but also be able to work alone. We do work hard here on the ranch, but we also take time to play!
In our spare time there is lots to do here in the Cariboo , with lakes, trails and beautiful recreational areas all around. We have the Williams Lake Stampede and Billy Barker Days in Quesnel for all the rodeo buffs out there! For history buffs, there is the Cottonwood Settlement and Barkerville!!
