***Cork City*** ***ONLY ACCEPTING PEOPLE ALREADY IN IRELAND***
***IDEAL FOR A GROUP OF 2-5 FRIENDS***

Hello! I l would love for you (or you and some friends!) to come and stay in my home. I'm not really looking for long term workawayers. If you'd like to come for a few days or a week that would work lovely!

Welcoming people with a variety of skills be it gardening, building, creatives :) Various projects have been started by me here since lockdown and I could do with some extra hands to finish them! I'm very flexible with dates, feel free to get in touch if yourself and a few pals would fancy a few jobs for a few days and a bit of craic!

Lovely food! Hugs and kisses from my dog and goat. A fire to sit around in the evenings or the option of a stroll into Cork City (30 minutes walk). I can offer to host you some yoga classes and bring you to the beach in the evenings (20min drive) if you'd like to go for a swim!

  • Help

    Help

By and large I'm looking for an extra pair of hands for a few days or more. Depending on where your skills or your enthusiasm lies I will be asking you
    - to help clear some of the garden
    - to help put up big shelves for storage in an old barn
    - help move fire logs inside to store for the winter
    - build a small wooden gate from palettes
    - to tend to the veggie patch/polytunnel
    - to help with tiling an old barn
    - paint some signs for a music festival

If you are a creative or have some experience decorating music festivals and you would like to build a feature of some sort during your time here that would be very welcome also!

I have started renovating a large old barn. It's not luxurious but it does have character. There is a large open plan space upstairs where you would be sleeping. I have four single beds and one futon. Downstairs the barn has a room with couches and hammocks, it also has a kitchen. The toilet is an outhouse just outside. There's access to a shower in my parent's house next door.

Food: Loads of delicious vegetarian food!

    What else ...

Our home sits on what was once a farm and is located by the river in what feels like a rural space. That said we live a 35 minute walk from Cork City. In your time off you are free to relax in what feels like the countryside or explore the city for all its quirks and wonders. I am more than happy to point you in the direction of nice spots to adventure to. I have a car and am more than happy to drop you somewhere if I'm free.
