  • Description

Hi we are Val and Tim and together with the help of Workawayers from all over the world we converted a 12m long American school bus into a hostel on wheels.

At the moment we are at the Spanish Basque Coast driving between San Sebastian, Bilbao and Santander. Our six beds for guests are full almost all the time and we're having an amazing time discovering this coast. Lots of adventure, surf and good times.

We are looking for someone with Mechanic skills who can help with things like; installing a new water temperature gauge, RPM gauge, work on Diesel engine, change fuel filter,..

We'll make sure you have an amazing time, get the best food ever and meet like minded people from all over the world!

Here is some more info about the concept:

Three years we’ll be touring around Europe with our hostel on wheels and no matter if you stay a night or a couple of weeks, your experience will be totally different than what you would expect from a regular hostel. You’ll become a part of our family from the moment you set foot on our bus. You’ll be able to experience what our life is like and of how fun living on the road together with other like-minded travellers from all over the world can be. It will feel like a home away from home and not only will we take you to beautiful places and enjoy unforgettable moments together, we’ll also take you on a food journey and hope to inspire you with healthy and delicious food. For us, this project is all about our love for the open road and the adventures it brings, sharing our way of life and connecting with other people. Hope to see you soon!

We have enough space to storage your luggage but please bring a duffel bag or backpack, not a suitcase.
There is a shower, compost toilet and wood stove on board.
There is lots of entertainment on board like a projector for outdoor cinema, books, board games, guitar, soccer ball, volleyball, slackline…
There are two surf boards and two mountain bikes
We also have a rooftop deck, lots of Lamzac the Originals, two Fatboys, Tables, benches and an awning for outside.

    Who are we?

    Valerie, Fenna, Tim and Lewis
We are Val and Tim, two nomads with a big passion for adventure sports, especially riding pow. We want to create and share unforgettable moments in the mountains or on the beach with you in our hostel on wheels. Our little girl Fenna and our faithful dog Lewis both love the outdoors as well and are a very important part of our family. Joining the bus means you’ll be just as important as they are for the time you spend with us! Hope to see you soon!
