    Description

    Hello from the Dolomites!

My name is Rossano and I run a small mountain co-housing in Dimaro Folgarida, Val di Sole, Trentino, in the Dolomites.

It is not a classic hotel. It is a simple, warm and practical place for independent travellers, solo travellers and people who come to the mountains for nature, hiking, biking, rafting, silence, rest and simple human connection.

The place has small private sleeping spaces, shared areas, a shared kitchen, a small reception/hall area, hot drinks, and a room that we use for yoga, meditation, breathing, silence and simple practices.

I am still building this place step by step, so the atmosphere is very real, simple and hands-on. At the moment I take care of many things myself: welcoming guests, checking the spaces, preparing the house for arrivals, keeping the common areas clean, answering questions, organising the rhythm of the day and slowly developing activities connected with nature, walking, rest and simple living.

I am looking for one practical and reliable person to support me during the summer season, mainly in July and August, possibly also from late June.

The help is practical and real. It can include taking care of shared spaces, preparing the place before guests arrive, light housekeeping and cleaning, linen changes, refilling products, simple check-in support, guest information and helping with the daily rhythm of the co-housing.

This is a small place, so the role is not only reception and not only cleaning. I am looking for an all-rounder: someone who understands that in a co-housing, taking care of the space is part of the experience.

I am present in the structure almost every day, so you will not be left alone. We will work side by side during many parts of the day: preparing spaces, welcoming guests, checking what needs attention, organising small tasks and keeping the co-housing clean, simple and welcoming.

The cultural exchange is based on shared living, hospitality, mountains and simple daily care.

During your stay you can learn how a small co-housing and hospitality project works from the inside: guest care, daily organisation, shared spaces, simple reception, communication with travellers, basic hospitality tools, preparation of spaces and the rhythm of a mountain season.

I can share what I know about hospitality, co-housing, guest experience, digital tools, small retreats, slow travel, nature-based experiences and building a hospitality project from the ground up.

I also like learning from people who come here: languages, travel stories, different ways of organising spaces, ideas for community life, yoga, meditation, outdoor activities, photography, social media or simply different ways of looking at hospitality.

Dimaro Folgarida is in Val di Sole, surrounded by mountains, forests and rivers. In the area you can enjoy hiking, biking, rafting on the Noce river, waterfalls, mountain villages, walks in nature and the Dolomites. Trento is reachable by train and the valley is very active during the summer season.

You will have time to explore Val di Sole, enjoy the mountains and experience life in a small mountain valley in the Dolomites.

We ask for help around 25 hours per week, usually 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, with 2 days off.

The exact schedule may vary depending on arrivals, departures and the rhythm of the place, but I always want the person staying here to have enough free time to explore the local area and enjoy the cultural exchange.

This is a hospitality-related project. All the help requested in this listing is paid. I offer free accommodation plus monetary payment for every hour worked, according to the applicable Italian rules and contractual framework.

The exact hourly rate, schedule, responsibilities and collaboration details will be discussed clearly before arrival and confirmed in writing.

Simple internal accommodation may be available inside the co-housing. This can be a small sleeping box or a dedicated bed space, depending on the period and occupancy. Bathroom and kitchen are shared.

You will have personal storage space for your food and products, and access to the shared kitchen.

This place is good for someone who likes mountains, shared living, simple spaces, practical tasks and contact with travellers.

It is not the right place for someone looking only for free accommodation, or for someone who wants a private hotel-style staff room.

Ideal profile: experience in hostels, B&Bs, guesthouses, housekeeping, reception or hospitality; good English; practical, clean, reliable and independent; comfortable with simple shared living; comfortable with cleaning and repetitive tasks during busy days; interested in mountains, slow travel, co-housing and community life; available mainly for July and August 2026.

Useful extra skills: German or Spanish, yoga, meditation, outdoor activities, social media/content creation, guest experience, organisation and event support.
