Hi folks, my name is Fran, I live in Playa de San Juan in Alicante in a super magical location at 10 mts of the beach. I need some help with the house mainly painting, gardening... This is the first time I´m using workaway but I am excited to meet people that believe in alternative ways of cooperating. I haven´t traveled much but I did a solo trip in Costa Rica a few years ago and have the impression that sooner than later I will spend some time in South America. I like surfing even though i do not have the chance to practice much as in Alicante there are not so many waves. I also love climbing and spend time in nature and also travelling with my van. My English is not good so hopefully that will help you improving your Spanish Skills :-)
We can also share some time cooking Spanish food, I have pretty nice recipes to share.
I believe you will enjoy staying in my place, taking advantage of all the benefits of been next to the sea ....nice walks, volley, yoga,....Come an try, you will nor regret. Also Alicante is know for the beautiful weather, beaches and also amazing mountains.

Not special skills are needed just attitude really as the help will be for painting the house, gardening...I will very much appreciate if other skills can be provided such as brick help, plumbing, electricity or carpentry for additional possible projects we can think about. But it is not mandatory. It is more a wish.

The house is nice and big enough to enjoy different spots for reading, doing sports....We will share the bathroom. You will have a room for yourself and a stunning views to the beach. I have also a very nice garden for any outside activities.
You will always have food in the fridge for breakfast, break times or lunch or dinner. But at least I will always cook you one lunch or one dinner.
What else ...
Helpers can enjoy Volley classes and yoga lessons in the beach or just enjoying laying down...running....Bar and restaurants and shops are 5 min walk from the house.
Tram station also in front of the house...so you can easily reach Alicante town center for additional services or activities.

Space for parking camper vans
There is plenty of space to park a van and it is nice and quite.
Can possibly accept pets
I live with Nitro (male dog) who can share the place with a female. Unfortunately with males, the exchange it is not always great so if you are travelling with a male dog not so good idea to come over.
