We are a family of five. Sigrid and Eirik in their late twenties with three girls, Ingrid (6 y.o), Liva (3 y.o) and Eirin (1 y.o). We both work as engineers beside the farm work. Ingrid has started primary school and Liva and Eirin goes to kindergarten.
We are living in Sauda which is situated in the western part of Norway, two hours by boat from Stavanger. Sauda is a beautiful small city with approximately 5ooo people. It is known for its big smelting plant and beautiful nature with fjords and big mountains.
We have a small farm with 8 cows, 35 sheep, 12 chucks, and one sheep dog. We can offer room and board. We have a nice big house with more than enough space.
Help in the house
On our farm there is always plenty to do. It is always good to have a pair of extra hands helping out during the calving and lambing, looking after the animals while they are in the mountains, harvesting season etc.
In addition we always have plenty of projects both indoor and outdoor where we could need some extra help.
Own guestroom with bathroom
