  • Description

We are located in Captain Cook above Kealakekua Bay in the heart of the Kona coffee belt.  We are 15 mins from the beach at a nice, cool altitude.  We have a family farm and keep bees. Our small family farm is about 4 acres, lush, and jungly.  Our farm is abundant (seasonally) with coffee, avocados, bananas, lilikoi, guava, papayas, pineapples, citrus, turmeric, cacao, and honey. It is a very rural area and peaceful. In February I broke my ankle. I was unable to walk for 2 months. Everything is still chaotic, and there just aren't enough hours in the day for us to get back on track!
We also have sheep, ducks, a bunny, a parrot, and three dogs.

Hawaii is bountiful. The Big Island is so healing, and a great place to escape the hustle and bustle! My husband is an Agriculturist/Beekeeper. He loves to share his knowledge. We have a farm in Hawaii so you could learn about about the culture and farming in Hawaii. We are three generations farming with Aloha, love to share knowledge, and love to share meals together.

  • Help

We are have immediate space for a couple to stay in our cabin. We have tents for another one or two people. We have a lot of projects going all the time! Currently (besides bees) we will be doing painting, organizing the bee shop, putting in a pond for our ducks, working on raised beds, some landscaping, picking avocados, and/or just general help with our busy lives =)

If you are not allergic to bees this might be for you.

We will have a set schedule so you can make the most of your free time in Hawaii =)

Beekeeping is a primary focus here.  For your own safety, anyone allergic/uncertain of allergies to bees should not stay or visit.

We ask that if you smoke (420 friendly) to do it outside 10 feet from structures, and please be tidy.
