Description
We are a host family seeking an au pair to be part of our family and help with our children, max of 25 hours a week but usually only 21 hours. We live in Macleod which is an amazing sanctuary only 30 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. All our au pairs see kangaroos their first day! We have a car you can use almost exclusively.

We have stayed in contact with all our previous au pairs and you are happy to contact them. We really welcome them as a part of our family, including dinner on Friday nights with Opa and Oma.

Help
We love having an au pair as apart of our family. The role is usually 21 hours a week but we can work really flexibly - if you want to travel, we can usually accomodate a long weekend or even a few weeks away.

You will have your own room including a queen sized bed, TV, bathroom shared with the kids, we have 3 levels in our house so there is always somewhere to be quiet but we also love doing things together. We usually cook, all food provided, happy for you to cook too but not compulsory, just if you want to!!
What else ...
We are only 30 minutes from Melbourne CBD and you can have almost exclusive use of a car. We have lots of other au pairs in our area and even one in our street so lots of opportunity for socialising and meeting friends. Some of our other au pairs have found work baby sitting or in local cafes.
