Located in central Illinois (2.5 hours from Chicago by car) We a small-scale, sustainable flower farm that uses only organic practices. We grow over 60 varieties of flowers on about one acre of land on an over 100 acre Civil War Era farmstead. We sell at the local farmers market in Peoria, IL and through a 50 member CSA weekl6 subscription program. Sustainable flower design is our specialty providing flowers for many local weddings, dinners, and other special events.
Farming with others is an easy way to feel a bond with others and the world around you. Spending hours under the hot sun or getting soaked by torrential rain are moments that alone wouldn't be so great but with others is a thrill. The conversations that come out of weeding a row of flowers is a step towards world peace.
