    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are a small team that is ever growing and evolving as our development takes shape.

We offer an excellent opportunity to interact directly with out team and the local community, and learn first hand about their culture and what it means to live in a small town in Sri Lanka.

We are a short boat journey from one of the most beautiful parks in Sri Lanka, Wilpattu National Park.

If you want to take a further journey to witness first hand Sri Lanka's culture, the following historical sites are a short drive away:
    - We are located 2 hours from Anuradhapura, one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of an ancient Sri Lankan civilization.
    - We are located 2.5 hours from Mihintale, a mountain peak near Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. It is now a pilgrimage site, and the site of several religious monuments and abandoned structures.
    - We are located 3.5 hours from Sigriya, an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres (660 ft) high.
    - We are located 3.5 hours from DAMBULLA, a town, situated in the Matale, Central Province of Sri Lanka. Major attractions of the area include the largest and best preserved cave temple complex of Sri Lanka, and the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, famous for being built in just 167 days. The area also boasts the largest rose quartz mountain range in South Asia, and the Iron wood forest, or Na Uyana Aranya.

Kalpitiya is based on the Western Coastline of Sri Lanka and is situated on the tip of the finger that protrudes into the Indian Ocean. It is a hideaway that was discovered as a kiting destination in 2007/2008. However, there are plenty of other activities in the area.
Kalpitiya is now developing as a tourist destination. It is a marine sanctuary with a diversity of habitats ranging from bar reefs, flat coastal plains, saltpans, mangroves swamps, salt marshes and vast sand dune beaches. It provides nursing grounds for many species of fish and crustaceans. The coastal waters are also home to spinner, bottlenose and Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins, whales, sea turtles, and the elusive dugong. The Sri Lankan government has now formulated a master plan for the development of tourism industry here.
