    Description

Help us in the home in Hygge Copenhagen :)

We are a couple in our early 30’s living in a house 20 mins from central Copenhagen.

We have two friendly cocker spaniels and a nice sized garden. We have not long moved in and would love to host someone who can help us get the house and garden looking great.

We want help with the following: (please write in your application whether you have experience with gardening, permaculture, veg growing, building or diy)

    - gardening - weeding, creating a permaculture style veg garden with flowers and fruit/ veg
    - building an area for chickens
    - making a water feature
    - creating an eco toilet and shower outdoors
    - building a wood fired sauna and pizza oven
-helping to finish converting our van into a camper - so paneling, building storage and the like

Then as needed help with general things such as:
    - cleaning, walking and playing with our cute cocker spaniels
    - a little healthy food prep/cooking
    - occasional help with laundry and other ad hoc jobs .

    We can offer you:

Accommodation in our camper van which already has a wood burner and kitchen started.

Access to gardens, hammock, outdoor living room, indoor bathroom and kitchen as needed

Bike to borrow and explore CPH with when you want to

Self serve breakfast and lunch: think local danish specials such a rye bread, porridge, coffee, fruit, pastries and yoghurt. Plus a lentil Dahl, soup or salad type lunch

Evening meal x 5 - this might be shared or if we are out you are welcome to eat alone. We ask that you share the cooking of evening meal with us 2 times a week.

Access to books -yoga and fitness equipment,

Local knowledge for you to enjoy CPH and surrounding areas to the fullest

A reference provided for gardening, permaculture and general building type help.

    A typical day -

Relax and enjoy a morning walk/ bike / swim at nearby beach followed by self serve breakfast.

Chat and discuss daily tasks - and start at 10am ish

Tea and Fika break (something sweet) about 12ish

Some more gardening or other projects till 1:30 when you can have a lunch break and an hour or two for own projects.

From 3-30 to 5:ish help and then enjoy your evening - bike to CPH in 30 mins or jump on the train five mins away for a 19 min trip to town.
