We have a small ceramics-café on the top of Denmark in Lønstrup near the sea. A pittoresk small city in Jutland with around 600 inhabitants. Here is our ceramics-café with a view to the lighthouse at "Rubjerg Knude" which is visited by around 250.000 people every year. The sea is very close ( 2 km) and the view over "Rubjerg Knude" and the sea is great from the mill.
The café is run as a family business taking good care to ensure that the guests feel welcome and are taken care of no matter if the customer is 5 og 94 - from all over the world.
We also have a dogs and 9 sheep + in periods lambs.

Help in the house
Learn about danish culture - be part of a german-danish family. We enjoy discussing different aspects of life and don't know everything! but like to learn and get new inputs.
There are many different tasks here at our place. The café is open week 7 & 8 and then again from easter to week 43 every day (except Mondays) from 11:00-18:00. We also have some land for the sheep and taking care of the lambs in the season is also an important task.
In the season we will need help with different projects such as gardening, taking care of the animals or constructing shelters. There is always something on the house that needs mending or the touch of a paintbrush. The garden and the paths needs to be maintained and there are several trees that needs to be cut down and maybe new ones planted.
If you stay with us you will be a part of all that goes on here - hard fun in great surroundings. We normally arrange that both we and you can cook at times depending on if you like doing this. In the main seasons we eat together 3-4 times a week the other days you cook for your self with food from us.
The 5 hours is max. but the 5 hours can be really intense!
Look forward to hearing from you - regards Kerstin & Martin
