  Description

  I'm Giommaria, I live in a farm with a lot of animals such us horses, donkeys, dogs, cats, rubbits and chickens. The farm is located near Usini, in the north of Sardinia. My daughter is 24 and she studies at University, instead my son studies abroad. When they are free they come to help me with managing the farm. The farm is located 5 minutes away from the town and about 15 minutes from the city. The farm extends for about 12 hectares . Inside the farm we have a riding school, a grill where we organize lunch and dinner, a rally track that we rent for rally cars test drive and where we also rent our kart cross.
  
  Sono Giommaria e vivo in una fattoria in cui ho molti animali tra cui cavalli, asini, cani, gatti, conigli e galline. La fattoria si trova vicino a Usini, nel nord sardegna. Mia figlia ha 24 anni e studia all'università, invece mio figlio di 19 anni studia fuori sede. Entrambi quando possono vengono ad aiutarmi nella gestione della fattoria.
  La campagna si trova a 5 minuti dal paese e appena 15 minuti dalla città. La fattoria si estende per circa 12 ettari e all'interno abbiamo un maneggio dove facciamo lezioni di equitazione, abbiamo una griglieria dove organizziamo pranzi e cene, un b&b e una pista da rally che affittiamo per fare i test drive delle macchine da rally e in cui noleggiamo i nostri kart cross.

  We want our workaways to feel at home with us and become part of our family, you will have the opportunity to learn Italian and about the Italian culture, also get a taste of the life in our small town - Usini, as well as the gorgeous countryside. We help our workaways improve Italian skills as much as possible, we are a very sociable family and we have a lot of patients to help you speak the language, our main social time is during dinner, we cook traditional Italian dinners but if you have a meal that is from your country we would love to try it :)
  I can give you a bike to go from the farm to the town.
  
  We prefer our workaways to stay 1-2 weeks or longer so you get a full experience of our culture, being organised, independent and with lots of enthusiasm is a must :)

  Vogliamo che i nostri workaways si sentano come se fossero a casa, e che diventino parte della nostra famiglia. Qua avrai la possibilità di imparare l'italiano e la cultura italiana. Imparerai anche ad apprezzare la vita in un piccolo paese, oltre a quella di campagna. Aiutiamo i nostri workaways a migliorare il loro italiano il più possibile. Siamo una famiglia molto socievole e molto paziente. Il nostro momento preferito è la cena nella quale cuciniamo una cena tradizionale italiana, ma siamo anche contenti di provare cibi di altre culture. Possono offrire una bicicletta per andare in paese.
  Preferiamo che i nostri workaways stiano minimo 1-2 settimane per avere un'esperienza completa della nostra cultura. Essere organizzati, indipendenti e con molto entusiasmo è fondamentale.
  Se neccessario possiamo aiutare i workaways ad organizzare il viaggio di andata e di ritorno, fornendo le informazioni per arrivare nel posto nel modo migliore.

  We are looking for either skilled or volunteers with a keen interest for learning maintenance, gardening and helping with our many animals, horses, donkeys, chicken, dogs and cats.
  
  Stiamo cercando sia persone con esperienza sia volontari che abbiano un interesse ad imparare come si gestisce una fattoria sia nella manutenzione e giardinaggio, sia nella gestione del bestiame.

  What else ...

  Sardinia is a beautiful island, famous for its sea and its fabulous beaches but also for its vegetation and the landscapes it can offer. Only 3Km away from the farm there's a small town "Usini", from which is possible to take public transportations. A little farther there's Sassari, the second biggest city of Sardinia, where there are many things to do. By taking the train in only 30 minutes it's possible to go to Alghero, that is very famous for its breathtaking sea and beaches.
  
  La Sardegna è un bellissiomo posto famoso per il suo mare e le sue favolose spiagge ma anche per la vegetazione e i paesaggi che essa può offrire. A soli 3 km dalla fattoria c'è un piccolo paese "Usini" da cui è possibile prendere i mezzi e muoversi nelle zone circostanti. Poco più lontano c'è Sassari, che è la seconda più grande città in sardegna dove ci sono molte cose da fare. Se si volesse prendere il treno, in soli 30 minuti si può arrivare ad Alghero, una delle località di mare più rinnomate in Sardegna.
