Helping with Tourists
As a busy venue with a varied programme of events and activities there are a number of areas where an extra pair of hands would be welcome. These include working in our Riverside Garden, invigilating our current exhibition, cataloging in our archive, or assisting with general maintenance in and around the building.
Own self-contained flat. Can accommodate 1 - 2 people at a time.
Helmsdale is a fantastic base for exploring the varied landscapes and rich culture and heritage of the northerly counties of Sutherland and Caithness. The coast offers dramatic sea cliffs to the north, and sandy beaches to the south, or travel inland to explore the peat bogs and moorland of the Flow Country.
Helmsdale is served by both train and bus services that run from Inverness up to the North Coast and buses connect with ferries to Orkney.
