The site is full of history that dates to the aboriginal period. One of the (few) residents has collected over 5,000 pieces of archeology he found on the surrounding land, figurines, ceramics, vases, stone tools. The beach is surrounded by natural beauty - many types of trees, grapefruit, mango, banana, coconut, sugar cane, a wide sandy beach and exquisite views. As a volunteer you will experience along with us attainment of knowledge and practical development for . sustainable farm living.
Some of the needed projects...water collection tanks and distribution installment, cultivating and landscaping of property, planting, cabin building, painting and art, bottle wall.
Will provide sleeping and bathroom facilities.... 3 meals a day in exchange for 5+ hours work. Fresh fruits on site available any time, water must be bought ($1)
The farm is somewhat secluded with direct access to the ocean. There are small towns within walking distance where you can catch a bus to larger towns. The basic activities consist of fellowship and nature enjoyment, watching the sunset over the ocean, walking on the beach, swimming in the ocean, going fishing, watching the many different types of birds, doing art projects and eating fresh and delicious food and UNO cards in the evening!!!!
