We are a very friendly and approachable Irish couple who are extremely fortunate to own two cottages at Malin Head, co Donegal, Ireland.
We reside in England most of the year but our Irish cottages form a very important part of our lives.
These cottages are traditional Irish cottages which we have restored by ourselves over the past 14 years.
They are located in one of Ireland’s most beautiful and scenic areas which is part of the wild Atlantic Way.
As part of the ongoing restoration process we are planning to renovate/ convert two existing stone buildings into an Art Studio / Gallery and interior decoration of restored bird / whale watching facility.
I would greatly appreciate an extra pair of hands to help me with the tasks involved.
You do not have to have specific building skills or knowledge; just need to be keen and enjoy physical activity and learning new skills.
If someone is interested they will get the opportunity to stay for free in lovely accommodation with superb food in one of the most iconic parts of the Wild Atlantic Way.
You will have a very memorable experience in one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland and you will be helping to create something magical for future guests to see when they visit this unique part of Ireland.
On a personal note we are both teachers who took early retirement in order to pursue other interests; of which the restoration and development of our Irish home is an important part.
I look forward to hearing back from any interested people.
