We are located in east central Scotland, north of Dundee. Angus is known as the bread basket of Scotland. Come and experience everyday life of an authetic Scottish hill farm. We have sheep and cattle as well as holiday accomodation. My name is Claire and we have three generations working on the farm.

The volunteers will be considered part of the family. During the day they will be able to learn about both traditional and some of the more advanced technologies we apply on the farm. They will learn about the different beef cattle breeds, such as limosin as well as native Scottish breeds such as the highland cow.
In exchange for the volunteers help we will provide all meals. These will include traditional Scottish fayre such as haggis, black pudding, meat from our own animals and fruit and vegetables grown locally.
We have a local hotel which we often visit fr meals during free times, it's a traditional Scottish hotel and there will certainly be opportunities to visit.
You would be welcome to help on the farm, in the house or garden. Farm duties could include animal husbandry, tractor work, fencing, tree planting, lambing, calving, we have an extensive garden and grounds for those who enjoy gardening and horticulture. Help with my baby and baby sitting also possible.
Your own comfortable accomodation in a large nicely decorated static caravan. there is a single and double room. log burner, kitchen area and shower room, wifi access and TV. meals etc eaten in farmhouse.
